"So, this is the gig you got us?" Dean squinted as he looked out the car window, trying to read the sign. "The Benny Vandergast Memorial Theater. And it's supposed to be, what? Haunted?"

"Filled with monsters."
"Monsters. Well, that's specific. What kind of monsters?"
"We got cut off before Bobby could say, but I promised we'd check it out."

Dean grumbled something under his breath and then said, "Fine. Let's go. But you're carrying the bag."
They snuck around back and jimmied the lock on the stage door. They had barely gone halfway down the hall when suddenly a short... guy poked his head around the corner.

"Oh, hello. You must be the guests my uncle was sending over. You can use the spare changing room. Take a left and then a right and it'll be the second door on your right. Sound check in thirty minutes." He turned and left before either Dean or Sam could think of a response.
Dean turned to Sam. "Okay... What the hell was that?"

Sam shook his head. "You got me. Come on, let's explore a little. Just because the emf didn't pick up anything yet doesn't mean there isn't something further inside."
"You hear that?" Dean asked, cocking his head as a piano started playing nearby. They turned the corner and saw-

"Tell me that wasn't a dog playing the piano." Sam whispered to Dean as they quickly flattened themselves against the wall.

"It wasn't a dog playing the piano," Dean parroted, backtracking and opening a door at random.

There was the WHOOOOSH of many things caching on fire and a loud "Meep!" of despair before Dean slammed the door shut again.
"What the hell was that? Try that door," Dean said, pointing to the one across the hall.

"Was that chef fighting with lobsters?" The bag slipped out of Sam's hand, landing on the floor with a thump and clank.

"One more door. And next time you find out what the hell is going on before we walk into it," Dean said as walked over to a dressing room and cracked open the door.
"Are you looking for moi?"

"No, sorry, wrong room," Dean said quickly, slamming the door shut. He turned to Sam. "We should get out of here."

Sam grabbed the bag. "Absolutely."
They'd only gotten halfway down the hall when the dressing room door flew open.

"Come back! I'm ready for my close up!"
She'd nearly caught Dean in a tackling hug when they ran past a bear and a frog,

When the frog shouted, "Miss Piggy! What are you doing?" She stopped short, flipped her hair over her shoulder and straightened her gown, giving Sam and Dean enough time to slip out the stage door.
"Bobby can take care of this. I am not setting foot in that theater again." If Dean pulled open the trunk of the Impala with more force than necessary Sam didn't comment on it. "What's next? Got another hunt for us? A simpler one, maybe?"

"Yeah." Sam pulled out some notes he'd made earlier. "Here we go. 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Just over in Mockingbird Heights."
"Great. Let's go kill something."
