But the next and final chapter -- which as you may have guessed will be denouement -- has been mostly written recently and with no prior planning whatsoever. Again, I find myself more pleased than ever with the results, especially the ending. I hope you are as well.

As father and stepdaughter learn more of the deadly new secret world they've stumbled into -- a world of vampires, of Slayers, and forces of darkness -- Dexter can see he's coming to a crossroads. But is it too late to choose the right path?
